Refund Policy

How refunds work at Keigo
Keigo is a digital subscription service operated by SASU I-TECH2 (France). Our refund policy is built around the French Code de la Consommation rules that apply to us, plus a few practical guarantees we add on top because we'd rather have a fair customer than a forced one.
1. Statutory withdrawal right (14 days)
Under article L221-18 of the French Code de la Consommation, EU consumers normally have a 14-day withdrawal right after subscribing to a service. However, Keigo falls under the article L221-28 exception for digital services performed immediately with the consumer's express consent. By starting to use AI conversions, document uploads, or any paid feature inside the 14-day window you waive the statutory withdrawal right.
If you have not used any paid feature within those 14 days, you can request a full refund by emailing the address below — we will not require you to justify it.
2. Beyond the statutory window
Outside the 14-day statutory window, refunds are at our discretion. We grant them in the following situations:
— Service outage longer than 24 consecutive hours during a billing period
— Duplicate or accidental charge
— Charge after a successful cancellation that didn't propagate
— Material change in service that meaningfully reduces what you paid for
For any other case, please contact us — we will look at it individually rather than apply a blanket rule.
3. Monthly subscriptions
You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. We do not pro-rate or refund partial months once you've started using paid features for that month.
4. Annual subscriptions
Annual plans are non-refundable after the 14-day statutory window has expired and a paid feature has been used. We can switch you to a monthly plan with the unused portion credited if you contact us inside the first 30 days of the annual term — that's a goodwill option, not a legal right.
5. One-time purchases
One-time PDFs (CV, Shokumu Keirekisho, Taishoku Todoke/Negai and other career documents) are generated on demand and delivered immediately. They are not refundable once generated. If a generated document fails to download or is technically broken, contact us and we will re-run the generation at no charge.
6. How to request a refund
Email refund@keigo.tokyo with:
— The email address on your Keigo account
— The Stripe receipt or invoice number (it's in the email Stripe sent you)
— A short note on what happened
We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds land back on the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank and card network.
